Despite some negative aspects of our stay, there were a couple of positive highlights. the cottage was spotlessly clean and felt like a home away from home. It had all the necessary facilities and items needed for our stay, including a fully equipped kitchen with cleaning supplies and towels provided. the location was great, as it was close to the high street with shops, restaurants, and pubs. This made it convenient for us to explore the town and enjoy some local amenities. Lastly, the cottage had a secure rear garden which was a bonus for our furry friends, and an off-road parking spot was provided as well.
Our experience at the cottage was not without its drawbacks. As a light sleeper, the road noise was a major issue for me.

Oh, how I loved waking up to the gentle hum of traffic outside my window and welcoming the glare of car headlights in the bedroom! Such a delight.
